When Mike Hesford passed away in 2011, a fund was set up in his memory at the Access Credit Union in Morris. In early 2023 these funds were transferred to the Morris Area Foundation.
Youth in Philanthropy is an organization that aims to get junior high and high schools students involved in community service. It also strives to teach young people about the importance of giving back and how that benefits local charities.
